Where have I been- you ask? Well, I wish I could say I was off on some tropical island somewhere or at a cabin in the mountains but no. I've just been here at home not doing much. I did fly for the first time in 33 years and went to visit my sister in Georgia. It was nice to have the warm temps and now we are getting some of our own. They are saying it could hit 85 this weekend!
Speaking of flying, Steve doesn't like to fly. He is claustrophobic. Well- he will be taking to the skies this Friday to head to Missouri to his uncle's place. His brothers kept trying to convince him to go so he rolled his eyes and said buy me a ticket. I hit that "buy now" button quicker than he could say "Oh crap- what have I done?" LOL!!
The trip was actually perfect timing because my girlfriend Nanci, who I met through scrapbooking, is driving here from western MD to visit with me for a few days. I will be taking her to Ocean City. She wants to try Mac 'n Manco's pizza that she hears so much about. We have a day of scrapbook shopping planned and a day or 2 of scrapbooking so we will be busy.
Well- I am off to get the usual daily chores done.

Sounds like you have a fun few days ahead! Scrapping, shopping and eating with a friend...no men...actually sounds pretty perfect to me! Can I come? ;)
Hello Everyone! I am Laura's DIL (the best and only j/k)~! I wanted to fill you all in and let you know why she has been missing from the board. This past Friday she called me at work and was telling me about how she was not feeling well and asked some questions from when my gal bladder was removed, due to stones. So she was in soo much pain I called the dr and demanded they see her or set up an emergency appoint. for her, with this the dr said I had to take her to the ER so I ran from work picked her up and out the door we went. She was not looking so great because the pain was so intense so the ran some tests and found calcification around the gal bladder and decided to monitor her for the night. She did great they filled out the papers to release her as they were working on them she ate the food they brought for lucnh because Steve insisted, well the pain came back with in 5-10 mins, so she stayed again. Yesterday they found stones in the gal bladder so they said the surgeon would be in. Today she had the surgery and everything went well, she is hoping to be home tomorrow I am patiently waiting for more of an update.... I hope this sets some of you at ease! She'll be back on here soon
