Not a good day yesterday:(

No matter how old your children are you always worry about them. Yesterday was one of those days. Michael (my oldest son for those that don't know) is a well-driller. I think it is one of the top 10 most dangerous jobs. There was an accident at work yesterday and Michael has a broken wrist and he lost the top of a finger. Someone was watching over him because he is lucky to be alive. He has a couple of appointments today so I will update here with more info when I get it.

On a happier note today is Dan's birthday. He is 19. Time sure does fly by too quickly. He also started college yesterday. He said it wasn't a bad day. Hopefully he will hang in there.

I sat back last night and listened to him telling Michael about his first day. Of course Dan comments that he will last longer than Michael did. LOL! But Michael's next comment stuck with me. He told his brother that he wished he had stayed and finished college because then maybe yesterday's accident wouldn't have happened. Hopefully that one statement will stick with Dan as well.

Laura, Hope your son is doing fine. I know what you mean. My daughter graduated with her master's (MBA) and can't find a job. But, I keep telling her the right one will come when you least expect it. I don't know if you remember me but, I use to be on the CKMB. But, it's been a long time. I have a blog now just started it in Dec. Check it out. I'm still learning on how to do stuff. Hope you have a good week. Pam

That is a powerful message from one brother to the other, hopefully it will stick with him through college. Happy Birthday Dan and good luck in school!
I hope Michael gets better soon!
